With so many places in the world we want to see, it was hard to pick the first area we would explore as husband as wife. We knew we wanted somewhere tropical and after much thought, we came to the conclusion that Hawaii would be perfect. How can you say no to the beautiful Pacific ocean and island charm of America's 50th state?

We chose the island of Oahu as our destination for the endless options. It was the perfect balance of city, ocean and country side that is exactly what we were looking for. We stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel on the south end of Waikiki Beach. We had the view of Diamond head on our left, the ocean at our front and high rises to our right. Within our five day stay, we were able to experience almost all that the beautiful island of Oahu has to offer. This was the perfect start of our first Adventure After the Altar.
